Who we are?
We are a team of students from Batavia High School, currently in our sophomore and junior years, who have come together to launch a startup as part of our incubator class. Our team members are Bryan Wnek, Lexi Kammes, and Ben Manikas. Each of us brings a diverse background and perspective, both academically and through extracurricular involvement, including soccer, baseball, and lacrosse..
Why we started?
We started The Windmill Weekly to help our seniors feel more connected to the world around them. With so much happening so fast, it’s easy to feel left out, and we didn’t want anyone to feel that way. This paper is our way of sharing local news, friendly stories, and reminders that you’re an important part of this community, every single week.
